Group heads are E61 derivatives renowned for thermal stability, and steam wands are stainless cool-touch designs. Power requirements typically range from 13A single phase for the MC-E up to 32A three phase for the Alex.
Yes. The 2-group Sara and 3-group Alex models comfortably handle 300+ cups per day in busy hospitality settings. For very high volumes (500+ cups daily) we'd usually recommend the 3-group Alex with rotary pump and direct mains plumbing.
With regular servicing and good water filtration, Biepi machines routinely last 10 to 15 years in commercial use. Their serviceable construction means worn components like seals, gaskets, and pumps can be replaced rather than scrapping the machine.
Almost certainly yes. Most of the UK has hard or moderately hard water, and limescale is the leading cause of boiler damage in espresso machines. We supply and install commercial water filtration sized to your local water hardness as part of every installation.
