Before buying any commercial coffee equipment, think about your daily volume, the size of your team, and how much counter space you have available. A high-volume café pulling 200+ shots a day needs a different machine to a small office pulling 30. Consider whether you need a single, two or three group machine, what your water supply situation is (mains-fed is almost always better for commercial use), and whether your electrical supply can handle the load — commercial machines often need a dedicated 13A or 16A circuit.
Don't forget the running costs: spare parts availability, water filtration, regular descaling, and engineer call-out support. The cheapest machine on day one isn't always the cheapest over five years — we've seen plenty of bargain imports become expensive paperweights when parts can't be sourced.
